BLS Original & Re-certification
The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to perform CPR and emergency cardiovascular care in a clinical or professional setting.
The course teaches high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), effective ventilation techniques, team dynamics, and relief of choking. Participants learn through hands-on practice and real-life emergency scenarios. Upon successful completion, students receive an AHA BLS Provider certification card valid for two years.
The BLS Renewal (Recertification) course is intended for individuals who currently hold an unexpired BLS Provider certification and need to renew their credentials. This course reviews and updates CPR skills, AED use, ventilation techniques, and team response strategies according to the latest AHA guidelines. Participants complete skills practice and testing to maintain their certification for another two years.
